I would describe myself as a busy mum to my gorgeous kids Ted and Daisy, a loving wife, and self-confessed exercise bunny.

If I'm not training for my next marathon I'm juggling kids lunches, family dinners, prepping for clients, running bootcamps, coaching at surf club, planning my next interval session in the gym and, on top of all that, a full-time job! So I suppose you could say I'm pretty busy, but aren't we all these days!
I am a REPS registered personal trainer and have more than 20 years experience in the health and fitness industry. As a passionate personal trainer and clean eater I love nothing more than helping people achieve their health and fitness goals, part of which is giving them ideas to stay on track with their eating. I understand how busy life can be and how easy it is to use that as an excuse not to eat right, so why not let us take the hassle away. Our easy to follow recipes and exercise programs are just that!

I have always been a busy rush-rush type of person, trying to fulfill many roles—working, being a mum, a wife, never sitting still … all the usual things! A few years ago I became ill and my journey from those days is how I got to where I am now.

I always thought I ate quite a healthy diet (other than a mars bar for breakfast!); however, looking back I know now my diet was anything but healthy.

Making the change to a healthy lifestyle was not easy; there were times when I thought “What am I doing? This is so hard”. Nonetheless, I persevered in the hope of one day feeling good again. Now it is just a way of life! It is about finding that happy balance in your life. I try to stick to the 80/20 rule as much as possible without feeling guilty if I don’t always succeed. There are so many healthy foods out there  that eating healthily doesn’t have to be an effort.

I want to share my experiences and help others. With a few little changes you too could feel this great! So remember, the key is to start slow—make a simple change every now and then and you will get there in the end, just as I did!
